Where's my commission?

I've "sold" at least 3 tablet PCs this evening. Why did I ever think I wasn't cut out for sales? ;)

Here's what I hate about conferences: You come and listen to the spiel and get excited and motivated and then you go home and have to come back down to reality. And after being here the past 24 hours, I have this desire to do what I'm supposed to be doing (my job) and am dying to find a place where I can do it without having to deal with all the politics I have to deal with now.

Not that I'm naive and think that I wouldn't have to deal with politics wherever I go, but I think if I want to focus on product development and lifecycle management, I should work for a company whose focus is product development.

Duh.
