Every time we have shipped boxes of wine back home from Napa, (usually once or twice a year) I have had this little twinge of fear that I might be headed for the big house...

And yet nobody ever said anything. (Even though the Sattui Winery logo was all over the box.) I think they kind of knew it was a dopey law anyway.

Peach - there's still hope for you: "industry groups expect that it will soon apply to beer and other alcoholic beverages".

Dean - Even though the wineries in Sonoma told me I shouldn't have any problems shipping wine, I opted to bring my bottles on the plane with me. I'm just excited about the thought of being able to order wine online now!

Yes, but we still can't mail order from Tennessee wineries.

I know, a travesty.

I'm sure we can find some quality muscadine from a neighboring state. :)
