Some things never change...

So I get back to work and find I can't login to our task assignment/tracking system. I follow procedure and send a notice to the IT Help desk.

The response:

A Technical Support Specialist should personally be contacting you within 8 business hours with a more specific time estimate.***

Your request priority is: Critical
Based upon priority, available technicians, and workload, we estimate that service will be provided in 4-6 business hours.

So, in 8 hours, I'll find out just when in the next 4-6 hours they will get around to helping me.
