It is, after all, my name.
I am so with you on this one! Our receptionist uses that sorry ass font all the time. It drives me nuts!!
Third. Ed. Thirded?
fourfled, er, quadrupled...We had secretaries who used that font on all kinds of memos, etc., and I couldn't believe it! Soooo unprofessional.
Absolutely. I think Anne of Stupid Stuff and I agreed a few months ago that it's the root of all evil. The receptionist where I used to work used it too and I always thought ugh, how totally unprofessional.
Years ago, I had an executive assistant fired because she made all of the company's templates (fax covers, memos, agenda and meeting notes...) using Comic Sans. It just screamed "I'm not qualified for this job"...
I guess I am the odd man out. I like it. It is better than BORING arial. Blue Cross Blue Shield uses it in some marketing materials.
I'm still trying my best to get my boss to stop using it on all our marketing. There's a site I need to find for you about fonts that need to be outlawed. Comic Sans is right on top.
