We'll be reading our potty books a lot... just to get comfortable with the idea

Found while browsing around for information about J.J.'s recent checkup (btw, he's off the chart in height -- big surprise):

Many toddlers develop the physical and cognitive skills necessary for toilet training, such as being able to pull their pants up and down easily, between 18 and 24 months of age,...


18 months? WOO HOO!

And then, went on to read:

but some aren't ready to start until they're as old as 4.


Oof. That would suck.

Considering J.J.'s already in a size 6 diaper, I'm hoping he won't wait until he's 4. In that case, I'll be drawing smiley faces on Depends...

hahahaha that is awesome.

FWIW Jake is now at 27 months and we are STILL working on that whole pull-your-pants-up-and-down sort of thing. But, we're finally making some progress on that front.
